1. Design + Engineering
The design phase kicks off your project with some fun. We will complete a custom draft of your commercial solar energy system that will meet your energy needs. Depending on the type of building, property and nearby environment you have, we will suggest a roof mount, pole mount or ground mount.
We will strategically place your panels based on your power load and irradiance in the area, then add optimization equipment. Once finished, we will share this along with pricing and projected savings.
This is the most painstaking part of the process, but luckily you don’t have to deal with it. The speed at which this portion moves depends on the local government, size and complexity of the project. As most of us have experienced, dealing with the city can take some time! Luckily, we have fostered great relationships to help move the process along.
Sunshine offers a turnkey solution which includes obtaining all necessary solar permits from your utility and municipality.
Once your permits have been obtained, we will have already ordered all equipment necessary and be ready to install. Rest assured that your installation will be seamless and will take between two days and two weeks (or longer depending on the size and complexity of the system).
Before your system can officially run, the city and/or utility will complete a final inspection. These inspectors ensure that the modifications to the building or grounds are up to code, safe and that the proper permits were acquired. Once this is complete, you can begin producing your own electricity!
5. Energy Monitoring
Sunshine will monitor and provide reporting on your solar energy system to see how much energy you’re producing and that all components are working correctly. We will run remote diagnostics, performance monitoring and reporting to ensure that you feel confident in your system and its ability to run optimally. If we do detect an issue, we will solve the problem quickly and efficiently.
We offer customized operations and maintenance services to meet the needs of our commercial customers. Preventative and reactive maintenance are important parts of going solar, and we offer a 30-year workmanship warranty to give you the peace of mind you need to make such a big decision about the future of your business.
